What is wrong with capitalism?

Intelligent people collect more capital than others in the form of consumable goods, but when this capital cannot be stored for a long time, they began to keep it in the form of money. Such people are called capitalists.

This universe is our common patrimony. Ours is a universal joint family… We should utilize all the mundane and supramundane wealth accepting the principle of Cosmic inheritance.

Human beings have unquenchable, infinite physical longings and out of these physical longings capitalism came into existence. Capitalists toil day and night for money.

In capitalism the rich misuse the psychic urge and direct their psychic pabula to the pursuit of material gains. And the poor, in their extreme poverty, misdirect their psychic urges and concentrate their psychic pabula on antisocial activities in their struggle for existence.

In both cases (communism and capitalism) psychic urges are misutilised for sub-human activities in the physical, psycho-physical and psychic spheres.

If these infinite human longings are allowed to run after objects of worldly enjoyment, conflict among human beings is bound to take place. As material wealth is limited, over-abundance for one leads to crippling scarcity for others. These infinite human longings can be fulfilled only through psychic and spiritual wealth. 

Exploitation starts when one violates the principle of aparigraha (non-indulgence in those amenities and comforts which are superfluous for physical existence), and accumulates more physical wealth than one actually needs for survival and to progress in the world.

As a result, traders, industrialists and business people suffer from the psychic disease of accumulating more and more wealth by any means, even to the point of depriving other human beings of their basic requirements.

Exploitation

While trying to fight against any sort of exploitation, first we must have a clear understanding of the nature of the exploitation…Capitalist exploitation has brought humanity to the brink of disaster by spreading its exploitative tentacles into every aspect of human life, the physical, the intellectual and spiritual spheres.

To solve the problem of capitalist exploitation in the physical sphere, we will have to ensure that the movement of money does not become restricted or immobile in the hands of a few capitalists. The present economic system should be thoroughly transformed, and a comprehensive and completely new economic system should be built in its place.

Intellectual Capitalism

People have been loudly protesting against capitalist exploitation. Remaining vigilant about people’s dissatisfaction with the capitalist system, capitalists have continually changed their methods of exploitation…Thus we see that in different periods there have been different forms of capitalist exploitation such as feudalism, laissez-faire capitalism, imperialism, colonialism, neo-colonialism, mixed economy, multinational corporations, etc. Today even communism has become a blunt and obsolete tool.

Psycho-economic exploitation…is a special type of exploitation which first weakens and paralyses people psychologically in various ways, and then exploits them economically. Some of the methods of psycho-economic exploitation include:…the extensive propagation of pseudo-culture, exemplified by pornographic literature which debases people’s mind, …an un-psychological education system with frequent political interference by vested interests,… controlling different mass media, such as newspapers, radio and television.

To counteract this threat, powerful popular sentiments will have to be generated immediately for the liberation of intellect…Casting aside all their inertia and prejudices, intellectuals... will have to assist the common people in their development and extend their support to all anti-exploitation movements. This approach will help to root out exploitation, stabilize the structure of society and expand the intellectual standard of the common people. Human society will move forward to a brilliant future with rapid steps.

Spiritual Capitalism; Some people neglect their family and society and go to caves in the mountains and perform arduous penance to fulfill their longing for spiritual emancipation. Because of their selfishness, they keep spiritual knowledge to themselves and do not bother to arouse spiritual awareness in individual and collective life. This is capitalism in the spiritual sphere.

Decentralization

Prout clearly emphasizes the need to fulfill minimum economic needs and create an ideal congenial social environment in which there will be…rational distribution of resources to solve all economic problems.

Capitalism will never support decentralization, because capitalist production exists to maximize profits. Decentralization means industry for consumption…PROUT’s idea is, “Production for consumption, not production for profiteering.” No matter what form capitalism takes – individual capitalism, group capitalism or state capitalism – capitalists will always prefer centralized production. Communism is state capitalism... 

To ensure the social and economic liberation of human beings, the maximum amount of socio-economic decentralization is essential…As far as possible, the establishment, operation and distribution of all industries should be done at block level. Only when this cannot be done should industries be organized at a higher level. Obviously, industries such as iron and steel factories cannot function in every village, block and district, so they should function in a larger area…Normally only very large-scale key industries should be under state control.

Methods to eradicate Capitalism

Capitalism is now rapidly moving into the final stage of degeneration. In the early part of the capitalist era, society experienced certain advantages, but towards the end, society has become the victim of insatiable rapacity, unbearable hardship and heartless deprivation. Those countries suffering under the weight of capitalist exploitation are rapidly moving towards shúdra (workers) revolution.

It cannot be denied that violence gives rise to violence. Nothing would be better, if it were possible, than the eradication of capitalism by friendly persuasion and humanistic appeals. In that case the peace of the greater human family would not be much disturbed. But can it be guaranteed that everyone will respond to this approach?...

Though the humanistic approach works in some cases, in most instances it does not produce any result; and even where it does work, it takes a very long time. So, wherever necessary, capitalism must be forced to abandon its ferocious hunger by taking strong measures. But it cannot be assumed that even these measures will be completely successful... Black marketing, adulteration, etc., cannot be totally eradicated by threats or by arousing fear of the law. Thus, stronger measures will have to be taken; that is, tremendous circumstantial pressure will have to be created. 

The incapability to recognize the requirements of others because of in-sensitiveness is a psychic disease. Those afflicted with this disease are also members of the vast human family; they are also our brothers and sisters. So, either by making humanitarian appeals or by creating circumstantial pressure, arrangements will have to be made to cure them of their ailment. It would be a great sin even to think of their destruction.

Capitalism is collapsing

Capitalism is not congenial to the integrated growth of human progress. A day is therefore sure to come when capitalism will burst like a fire-cracker.

Those who want to promote public welfare without antagonizing capitalism will have to oppose mechanization. This is because when the productive capacity of machinery is doubled, the required human labour is decreased by half, so the capitalists retrench large numbers of workers from their factories….Surplus labourers are ruined, bit by bit, due to poverty and hunger.

In a collective economic system there is no scope for such an unhealthy situation; in this system mechanization will lead to less labour and more prosperity. But, of course, the reduction in working hours will have to be determined keeping in view the demand for commodities and the availability of labour.

In a collective economic system (working time will be reduced), so the benevolent use of science will bring about human welfare…Not always being preoccupied with working and the problems of acquiring food, clothing, etc., people’s psychic and spiritual potentialities will no longer be wasted. They will be able to devote ample time to such activities as sports, literary pursuits and spiritual practices.

Sarkar and microvita

Previously, people were under the impression that molecules were the minutest particles of elements. Later it was found that atoms, not molecules, were the minutest entities. Still later it was discovered that even an atom is not the minutest particle, for atoms are made of electrons, protons and many other imaginary and non-imaginary particles…Microvitum is the minutest entity. The collection of microvita forms a carbon atom. …As a microvitum is a singular entity, it has no structure. By nature it is more energy than matter, so it travels and moves through inferences, whereas other entities cannot move through inferences.

These microvita are the carriers of life in different stars, planets and satellites – not carbon atoms or carbon molecules…So the root cause of life is not the unicellular protozoa or unit protoplasmic cell, but this unit microvitum.

Microvita are mainly of two types: the positive and the negative ones, each having their peculiar influences on different animate or inanimate structures; that is, they have influence on both animation and inanimation.

Positive microvitum, being more of ectoplasmic nature, starts functioning or working first in the mental level then filters down towards physical matter. Negative microvitum starts functioning in matter and moves towards the mind, towards ectoplasmic stuff and endoplasmic coverage.

In the case of positive microvita, the reaction takes place after they cross the lunar plexus, both in female and male bodies… and as they move upwards they increase their speed and bring about acceleration in spiritual progress, both in the case of males and females…Non-vegetarians are not fit to receive the application of positive microvita. Positive or negative microvita can affect the protoplasmic cells of a structure directly, and even bring about a change in the genetic structure.

In order to kill negative microvita before the end of their life span, the number of positive microvita has to be increased by good thinking and sádhaná (spiritual practice).

Each and every day microvita – more negative microvita – bring so many ailments from other planets and celestial bodies to Earth. They come through different inferences…Even now influenza is fatal to human beings in cold countries.
The disease can be cured only when the numbers of positive microvita are increased, and they devour the negative microvita…Similarly, from various planets and distant nebula, varieties of positive microvita bring pious, sentient thoughts and elevating sentiments.

In the course of their study, doctors should try to find out the coincidence between the characteristics of metazoic cells and multicellular protozoic cells in both the physical and psychic realms. This will greatly help doctors in finding out the medicines for many diseases. Moreover, doctors are not acquainted with many diseases that are yet to come to Earth. If doctors can find out the factuality of negative microvita, they can prevent attacks of negative microvita before they occur – before they reach the planet… In fact, the increased concentration of negative microvita caused by allopathic medicines creates many new types of diseases, and due to this, two or three new diseases are presently being created every decade.
Externally we should take medicines to check diseases, but internally we should perform spiritual practices to increase the concentration of positive microvita and thereby kill the negative microvita.

In communist and capitalist countries, there is plenty of unutilized positive microvita because of the excessive use of negative microvita in the physical and physico-psychic strata in the society. That is why there is the problem of immorality etc. there. There must be full utilization of the accumulated excess positive microvita through sádhaná, service, etc. to solve this problem.

Due to the excessive use of positive microvita, it will become difficult to control and balance the negative microvita in the physical and physico-psychic strata because there will be a shortage of positive microvita. You must not run after occult powers.

As a result of intensive research on microvita, there will be many significant changes in the chemical formulae of various objects. In India there is a constant shortage of tin and copper. By bringing changes in the inner physical structure of objects with the application of microvita, necessary elements can be created. In the same manner, petroleum can be artificially synthesized with the help of microvita. This sort of change takes place with the change in the internal structure of objects. There is greater scope for change in metals than in non-metals. Newer varieties of explosives will be created in the future. In fact, there will be radical changes in the field of pyro-technology.

There will be revolutionary changes in the fields of pharmo-chemistry and biotechnology. A particular object has its particular medicinal value. Take, for instance, the case of copper sulphate. It contains copper, sulphur and oxygen. Any variation in atomic proportions brings changes in the quality and effectiveness of medicines. Changes in the number of microvita bring qualitative change. Intensive pharmaco-chemistry research will reveal the amount of microvita required to produce particular kinds of medical effects, and accordingly a scientist will be able to evolve accurate and effective formulae for various medicines.

Energy, if it comes in direct contact with this world of physicality, is converted into so many energies – magnetic energy, electrical energy and many other energies. And when that very energy functions through the cosmic “known” world, the Cosmic “Known” Entity, then it creates different psychic faculties, different psychic worlds. And if after passing through the Cosmic “Known” Entity it comes down towards the plane of cosmic or individual propensities, its movement is towards the crude, towards crudification. But if it moves towards the cosmic cognitive faculty it is converted into psycho-spiritual movement, and finally spiritual movement or into the Spiritual Entity.

If matter maintains a close proximity to microvita, microvita maintains a close proximity to idea. Here is the line of demarcation. That is, if you powder down atoms then you get microvita, but if microvita could be powdered down you would get idea. Just as atoms are not perceived by the naked eye, but only by experimental results, similar is the case with microvita. But while atomic research can be done in physical laboratories, microvita research can only be done in the human mind and soul.

So, microvita are the initial stage of matter. Microvita are the silver lining between idea and matter, though they are closer to the realm of ideas than matter

PROUT’s Solution for future

Under the present socio-economic conditions, PROUT advocates a comprehensive, clear-cut policy to tackle the population problem. According to PROUT, population growth will automatically find a natural level if the following four factors exist in society.

First, there should be economic liberty in society so that people may get a nutritious diet. In Scandinavia, for example, the purchasing capacity of the people is high and they enjoy a good standard of living. Because of this they do not face the problem of overpopulation.

Secondly, everybody should have the right to enjoy sound health. If people have a healthy body and mind their glandular system will remain balanced, and they can easily transform their physical energy into psychic energy and their psychic energy into spiritual energy. Through this effort of channelizing the mind in a spiritual direction, the baser mental propensities are easily controlled.

Thirdly, people should be free from unnecessary mental worries and anxieties. When one suffers from mental agonies continually, the mind naturally indulges in baser physical enjoyment to get rid of that unwanted condition. When mental agonies disappear, human beings will enjoy peace of mind and be able to assimilate subtle ideas.

Fourthly, the intellectual standard of humanity will have to be elevated. With intellectual advancement human beings will develop their all-round psychic potentiality and can easily evolve their psycho-spiritual potentiality. Through continuous effort human beings will be able to attain the supreme stance, merging their individual unit existence into Cosmic existence.

Imposing a fear of population growth is nothing but a cunning conspiracy by vested interests to misguide people and exploit society. Optimistic people throughout the world will have to unite and raise their voices against such a heinous conspiracy, and work together to construct a just and benevolent society.

The future of humanity is not dark – I have this faith. Human beings will seek and one day realize that inextinguishable flame that remains ever-burning behind the veil of darkness.

The flame of a lamp lights up countless lamps. The touch of a great personality wakes up innumerable sleeping hearts. In the same way, the eternal glow of the boundless élan vital of Cosmic Consciousness has been illuminating the life-lamp of universal humanism since time immemorial, is illuminating it, and in future will do so even more intensely. That is why I say, the future of the human race is not dark, rather it is strikingly resplendent. So proceed on, ignoring the frowns of darkness.

The humans of today are possessed with spirited intellect and accomplished wisdom. They are keen to advance with rapid steps shattering the shackles of dogmas. They will no longer be entrapped by illusion or opportunism. The rays of the crimson dawn of a new humanity on the eastern horizon have started weaving textures of colors on their eyelids and in the subtler recesses of their minds. As for those who had been dreaming so far to keep humanity imprisoned by dogmas, their days are numbered; their blissful dreams are being shattered to pieces. I call upon all enlightened people and say: “Go ahead with courage. Humanity has been awaiting you. Establish it in the excellence and grandeur of glory”.

In the near future there will be a severe crisis in many parts of the world. Many large rivers like the Ganga, the Jamuna and the Thames are already much polluted. People cannot drink this water, and if they even wash their hands in it they can become infected. The only solution is to rely on rainwater. We must collect the rainwater, develop the science of making artificial rain through helium or any other process, and bring the clouds which rain over the ocean onto the land…

In the physical sphere there are two types of calamities – natural calamities and those caused by human beings. Today most calamities are caused by human beings, but sometimes natural calamities like typhoons, floods, droughts, earthquakes, etc., also occur. Although different types of calamities may confront humanity, doomsday will never happen. The very idea of doomsday is based on dogma

If Kiirtana is done beforehand, then those future troubles can be forestalled while they are still in the premonition stage.

Calamities are also caused by the destruction of the environment and the indiscriminate exploitation of subterranean resources such as coal, oil and water. One of the greatest causes of environmental destruction is deforestation.
That is, clouds which once rained on Magadh now rain on the Arabian Sea…Approximately two-thirds of the surface of the globe is water and one-third is land, but due to deforestation the water portion is increasing and the land portion is decreasing…If deforestation and the indiscriminate exploitation of subterranean water reserves continue, it is likely that many parts of the world will face severe [drinking] water shortages.

Another cause of environmental destruction is the exploitation of subterranean resources. Deep cavities have been formed in the earth after extracting subterranean resources, and these cavities should be properly filled….Moreover, the unfilled cavities can severely weaken the surface structure of the earth, causing whole regions to collapse.

What are the most important causes of drought? There are three main causes. The first is the wanton destruction of plants or indiscriminate deforestation, the second is low pressure systems over oceans and big seas, and the third is sudden changes in the angular movement of the sun and other celestial bodies like comets, nebulae and galaxies.

The second and third causes are presently beyond human control. In the future, with the development of the meteorological and marine sciences, human beings will be able to partially influence and overcome the second cause, but not fully. The third cause can only be controlled by Supreme Consciousness. However, if human beings follow the path of positive microvita and have the grace of Supreme Consciousness, they can also control the third cause.

How do the sudden changes in the angular movement of celestial bodies cause drought? The paths of some comets are predetermined and astronomers can ascertain their arrival dates and possible effects on the earth, but there are other comets that appear suddenly without warning. When there is the sudden appearance of powerful celestial bodies or a sudden change in their angle of rotation, their gravitational pull may disturb the seasons and the natural order of creation. For example, as a result of the strong gravitational pull of a powerful comet or meteor, clouds may not be formed. This phenomenon is called bakudashá in Sanskrit.

Ecological order is not only for the earth but for the entire universe, and it must be maintained both within and without. The angular displacement of any celestial body may affect the human mind as well as the physical universe, so balance must be maintained between the internal and external spheres. In all aspects of human life this subtle balance must be maintained. This is ecological balance.

My personal opinion is that atomic bombs can never totally destroy human civilization, for humanity has not yet become intellectually bankrupt. The conflict between Vidyá and Avidyá, or the introversive and extroversive forces respectively, is now going on intensely. So I cannot but come to the clear conclusion that humanity is sure to discover a new weapon to counter the atomic menace in the very near future. This will also conclusively establish that science has a great and sublime role to play in promoting human welfare.

Human civilization has now reached a critical stage of transition. Exploitation of one human being by another has assumed alarming proportions. At critical junctures in the past, when exploitation had reached the zenith point, history witnessed the emergence of mighty personalities who were able to overcome the problems in society. Today also, the guidance of mighty personalities with a comprehensive ideology is required to lead humanity away from the edge of disaster towards a glorious future. The emergence of such personalities is an indispensable necessity of history.

Take the case of our poles: the poles may shift their positions…As a result of this change the magnetic structure of this Earth will change. As a result of which other planets and satellites of the solar system will also undergo certain remarkable metamorphosis. And if the magnetic order is disrupted, then certain remarkable changes, certain remarkable metamorphoses in the electromagnetic vibrations of this Earth and also of the entire solar system, will occur. As a result of this type of change in the electromagnetic vibrations, human thought waves will certainly be affected.

Our progress in the arena of science depends much on the progress of our knowledge in electromagnetic waves, electromagnetic emanations…

…In the case of such a change in the physical order and also in the physico-psychic order, the change is sure to take place in the realm of spirituality. We hope that the movement – that is, the movement of humanity, and of each and every living being – is from matter to consciousness, from extroversion to introversion. So the thought waves of human beings will be more of a spiritual nature than they are at present. That is, humanity in that developed condition will be more spiritual-minded than it is at present.

…And you see as a result of such a change, especially if the change takes place very fast, then another ice-age may occur here on this Earth. Between the pre-condition and post-condition of the ice-age there may be a long gap – that is, the pre-age and the post-age will have a long gap between them. But we have much expectation and hope from human intellect; and we hope, if a catastrophe comes, the human intellect will be able to overcome such a catastrophe and arrange for shifting the population to some other planet having suitable environmental conditions and a better ecological order. Let humanity rise, and let this development of humanity be more and more spiritually-oriented!

The more time is passing by, the more the glare of casteism, provincialism, communalism and nationalism is fading away. The human beings of today must understand that in the near future they will definitely have to accept universalism.

Coming changes in society

The power of human beings is much more than that of an atom bomb. So to imagine that atomic bombs will destroy the human race is to insult human intellect, to belittle human psychic power…When the creator is the unit mind, then whatever might be the physical force of the created object, its mental force must be less than the unit mind that created it. So whatever human beings create, these creations only possess material force, not psychic power. An atom bomb has no mind. Perhaps in future human beings will produce such machines (about which I have already hinted) which have minds also. But even in that case, those minds will be weaker than their creators’ minds.

The earth is not only for human beings, it is for other living beings also. So we will have to do something for them. The minimum requirements and maximum amenities should also be given to animals. Today cows, dogs and monkeys are developing; tomorrow more and more animals will be in this category. Animals will also develop longings for different psycho-physical pabula, so they should be guaranteed minimum requirements and maximum amenities too. We will have to do something for them also. This is the demand of Neohumanism, of Neo-Humanistic ideas. This demand should be fulfilled by PROUT.

Progress is never ending. Pabulum is also never ending. We should understand this. There cannot be any stop in the march of human progress. And not only in human progress, but in the physical and psychic worlds also. Geo-sentiment will die out; socio-sentiment will disappear; socio-economic sentiment will be eradicated. Finally a day will come when sentient sentiment will dominate. A day will come when human beings will get the maximum amenities, then human beings will reach the zenith. But is the provision of maximum amenities the zenith of service?

One may not be a genius, one may simply be a member of the ordinary public, and not properly accepted or respected by all, but even then one will get the minimum requirements and maximum amenities in an ever increasing manner according to the environmental conditions concerned, according to the demands of the day.

…Every living being is the child of the Supreme Entity, and that all the people of all nations belong to the same family. This will have to be explained to all, that there will be clash among different nations as long as national feelings exist. People may talk of disarmament, but military preparation will go on underground. And if people dedicate themselves to the welfare of the entire human race, their respective nations will also be benefited indirectly because their nations are not outside the universe!

Although the anti-exploitation sentiment is the most important factor in building a nation or a group of nations, this sentiment will not be able to sustain a nation or a group of nations for a long time…As soon as administrative power passes into the hands of moralists, then exploitation will cease to exist.

Today people give more importance to the political than to the bio-psychological and economic aspects of population growth. The population problem is not just an economic problem – it includes economic, biological, psychological and intellectual aspects.

Science has reached such a stage that it can usher in a new era. It can produce synthetic food in the form of tablets to help solve the food problems of the world. A single food tablet can be sufficient to provide sustenance for a whole day, so we need not fear population increases. Future generations will spend more of their time and energy on subtle psychic and spiritual activities, so their demand for physical food will decrease…With the application of science and technology we can harness these resources to meet the challenge of the food problem.

The importance and value of land will automatically diminish if the problems of food production are solved. In the future a synthetic food tablet may be enough to satisfy a person’s hunger. The production of abundant quantities of such tablets in scientific laboratories will remove the disparity between the rich and the poor, because the poor, under the pangs of hunger, are forced to become slaves of the rich, providing the rich with ample opportunities for the accumulation of more wealth to satisfy their greed…Yet with limited land at their disposal, people are increasing food production through scientifically prepared manure, high-yield seeds, irrigation systems, etc. So we see that science is indispensable for human progress, and without it half the population of the world today would die of starvation.

Now the element of physicality is predominant, but in future the psychic element will become predominant and the physical aspect will become secondary. All the ectoplasmic and endoplasmic potentialities of the entire creation are fast being converted into psychic potentialities.
…Artists should not only give a flawless portrayal of the present with their creative talent, but they should also continue to explore the possibilities of the future with a benevolent mind…The relation between the present and the future must be properly portrayed by presenting every stage of cause and effect.

Those who predict the future… who are able to give some hint of the future after having visualized it by dint of a little concentration of mind, are called iikśańaka or iikśańika.This science of iikśańa has yet to become a fully developed science, even today. It is still in the research stage…

The struggle between the good and the evil forces terminates in the latter’s rout – this you have seen, are seeing and will see in future. Only remain vigilant that the evil forces under no circumstances receive any indulgence from your side.

Like any other problem, great or small, there is only one way to solve economic problems, and that is through genuine love for humanity. This love will give people guidance; it will show them what to do and what not to do. It is not necessary to study great numbers of books or to rely upon those who speculate with the future of the silent masses. The only essential requirement is to look upon humanity with genuine sympathy.

Changes on human structure

At that time human beings will be making tremendous progress in the realms of intellectuality and intuition. The human beings of that future age will be very sensitive. The efferent nerves will be more active than the afferent nerves, and subtle experiences will be more common than they are now…The functional jurisdiction of the brain will also increase. Similarly, many animals will become more sensitive and their vocabulary will increase. With intellectual development vocabulary increases, and the number of words in a language also increases.

The demerit of this system is that as life becomes easier and easier, the physical capacity of human beings will gradually decrease…. It is a fact that human strength will decrease in the future, but with the progress of society we have no alternative but to accept this situation. A day will come when the eyes and the bones in the human body will become weak. Almost all people will wear glasses and have false teeth… Human intellect will become sharper, the cranium will become larger and the nerve fibres will become more complex.

Human beings will definitely be able to increase life longevity by scientific techniques. In certain special cases they will even be able to restore life to dead bodies. The endeavour to expedite the advent of that auspicious day of science is certainly an important part of social service.

One day human beings will also learn how to produce human babes in science laboratories. Perhaps then it will be possible for human beings to place an order for their children and to get children according to their choice…
When laboratory babies will be produced, nature will slowly snatch away the child-producing capacity of men and women. There will be no fathers and mothers. The whole social order will be changed. The reproductive urge in human beings will be utilized in higher and subtler pursuits. Those laboratory boys and girls will be more mentally and spiritually developed than the mortals of the present day…The development of intuition will make human beings more spiritually inclined. What the Supreme Entity is directly doing today will be done increasingly by the human beings of tomorrow.

This explains why a laboratory babe will not be free from saḿskáras or the reactions to past actions.

Biological babes will not have much attachment, though they will be subject to pleasure and pain. They will not be required to undergo much physical struggle because through scientific inventions a tablet may be sufficient to sustain them for days together…. Hence, the more leisure time they have the more sádhaná they will do.

On other planets also, there are various kinds of beings who are more or less developed....If the human brain or its cranium is small in size, it cannot accommodate much intellect. So, for the expression of greater intellect, the human cranium must become large in size. In primitive times, the huge dinosaurs had huge bodies but very small brains.

The greater the physical evolution, the more complex the physical structure becomes. It is necessary also, because subtle thoughts and their expression depend upon a complex physical and psychic structure…A suitable cranium is not sufficient; one also requires an equally developed nervous system to transmit impulses from the brain to different parts of the body. Moreover, nerve cells and nerve fibres are also not sufficient; one requires developed glands to conceive of new ideas. This means that the human structure must become progressively more complicated. Of all the microcosmic bodies on this planet, the human body is the most complex, for it has to act as the vehicle for the human mind.

If people could give senility and death the slip by replacing old glands with new ones, what else could they want? Humanity is now capable of doing this through medical science. One of the reasons the physical body dies is because its glands become old and weak. So death can be postponed if a person’s glands are replaced.
If the entire brain is replaced, the whole personality will undergo radical changes. In such a case a new personality emerges and the former one ceases to exist.

Humanity has been advancing and will keep advancing in the future…The victorious humans who came to this planet long back will move to other planets, to a greater glory, a greater victory, a far greater enlightenment.

Before the creation of developed minds, all worldly phenomena were directly controlled by the Cosmic Mind, including the transmutation of energy. In the future when the human brain is more developed, more will be done through its medium. Be a perfect machine, be a good medium, so that He may do more and more work through your structure. This universe is His, and because He is yours, it is your universe. Serve your universe!

Future of humanity, Evolution

As life becomes increasingly easy, there will be greater opportunities for intellectual pursuits. A day will come when there will be hardly any need for human beings to work. This may sound strange today and perhaps we might not like to hear such a thing, but that day will surely come. Physicality will be transformed into more and more intellectuality, and intellectuality will be transformed into the culminating point of spirituality. To move ahead from physicality to intellectuality is the Proutistic order. It is the surest movement of human life – it is the surest movement of human destiny.

One day the physical and psychic structure of human beings will become divine…This transformation in human psychology will come about through spiritual practices. So I advise each human being that as long as you are alive, you should try to build yourself in a nice way, in a complete way.
